GPSMAP 62S - Another Perfection of Workpiece by Garmin

GPSMAP 62S is the newly released handheld navigator of Garmin. As we can expect from Garmin, this product shows excellence and perfection in each part of it that there is no need for us to worry about the unit itself. Night View mode allows for dark backgrounds which is not so bright for night use. However, we can manually switch it or even automatically at sunrise and sunset. Auto Locate function will allow us to reset the GPS almanac data and get a refreshed start, that we will be greatly assisted if we have not had it for a long time or traveled a long distance. We can also set a specific distance with this GPSMAP 62S and set an alarm when we are about to approach or depart a specific waypoint using Proximity Alarms mode.

There is 3 axis, tilt compensated electronic compass that will show our heading while altimeter will track change in barometric pressure to pinpoint our altitude.
